Volunteers

Amazon Ecology welcomes help from people with many skills to support our work in the US and Peru.  Contact us if you'd like to share some of your time and talent with us.

Volunteers in the U.S.

Volunteers help us in person in the US and everywhere through the internet. Diverse tasks include support for accounting, fundraising, research, taking and editing photos and videos, and marketing crafts at special events and online.  We are now seeking volunteer Fair Trade Marketing Assistants.

Student projects

We have worked with numerous high school and college students, classes and groups to support Amazon Ecology while they fulfill requirements for a course, internship or community service. Recent projects have built craft displays, created product listings, and developed marketing strategies.

Field volunteers in Peru

Amazon Field Volunteers directly support our work in Peru in the city and partner communities. Volunteers have spent two to six weeks sharing their skills for art, writing, photography, videography, health care, and teaching English.  We will welcome help with marketing and sales at our Garza Viva store in Iquitos.
